The IMAGE Project

The IMAGE Project is a Minnesota based non-profit organization with the mission to empower Maasai girls and women in Tanzania through education and economic opportunities. By listening to the needs of Maasai communities in Tanzania, and building relationships based on trust and commitment, The IMAGE Project seeks to build and promote an IMAGE of success and empowerment for their future. Then together, volunteers from the United States and communities in Africa develop ways to achieve this success and make their IMAGE of the future a reality.

By working together in this partnership, The IMAGE Project uses resources from donors and sponsors to provide education for primary school students, girls in secondary school, and women of all ages and to support agricultural and poultry and livestock projects. The IMAGE Project believes in the possibilities for greatness that lie within each of us, and strives to reflect that through the relationships they build with the Maasai communities.

The Place To Find Resources For Your Special Kid!

Padraig’s Place, a non-profit corporation registered with the State of Minnesota, was founded in 2008 to create a place for families of special needs children to find information and resources that will enrich the lives of both the child and the family. Padraig's Place believes that with the necessary support, families can integrate disability into their families lifestyle rather than living their lives around the disability.

Padraig’s Place seeks to educate the families of special needs children about the available resources in their communities, thereby creating vital connections to enrich the lives of special needs children as well as their families and care providers. Through networking and communications, we strive to present all specials needs children with increased opportunities, new and positive experiences, and previously inaccessible, or thought to be, activities. Services are offered in four areas: Care and Respite, Education, Networking and Activities.

Anyone. Anywhere. Anytime.

Wilderness Inquiry's mission is to make adventure travel accessible to everyone, regardless of your age, background or ability. We provide all kinds of outdoor adventures for a wide variety of people. We offer canoe, kayak, hiking, horsepack, and dogsled trips throughout North America and the world. Each year we conduct over 250 events serving more than 16,000 people. Our trips are designed for everyone from novices to seasoned outdoor veterans. Over the years, we have found that attitude is far more important than experience or ability.

By their very nature, WI experiences have a way of fostering positive attitudes. We are a nonprofit organization founded in 1978 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our passion is making high-quality outdoor experiences accessible for everyone, including those who do not typically get out and enjoy the wilderness. In addition to trips, we provide training for other organizations and outdoor skills workshops at community events. We also raise money to provide scholarships to make our programs financially accessible to everyone.

We hope you will share the adventure with us!
